2009 AMA Awards Voting

Voting is officially open for the 2009 American Music Awards. Rascal Flatts are nominated for 2 awards this year:

Favorite Country Duo, Group or Band
Favorite Country Album

We need your help promoting the online voting. Most of you know the drill but for those who are new to the street team, let me give you a break down of how this works. You complete a mission and then submit a screen shot directly to Darling. Each screen shot will be worth 15 points. You will find directives below. The more points you earn the more you will be able to spend in the points store once it launches.

HOW DO I PROMOTE? • TWITTER: You can promote using your own twitter account if you have one. Simply send out a tweet with the following message “Vote for Rascal Flatts for 2 American Music Awards! Vote HERE: http://bit.ly/RFAMA23 RETWEET THIS” • FACEBOOK: Update your facebook status by posting this message “Vote for Rascal Flatts for 2 American Music Awards! Vote HERE: http://bit.ly/RFAMA24 “ • MYSPACE BULLETIN: Send out a MySpace bulletin to all of you friends. You can insert the following message: “Vote for Rascal Flatts for 2 American Music Awards! <A href="http://bit.ly/RFAMA21">CLICK HERE TO VOTE</a>” • MYSPACE WALL POST: Post a message on all of your friends’ walls on MySpace. You can post the following message “Vote for Rascal Flatts for 2 American Music Awards! <A href="http://bit.ly/RFAMA21">CLICK HERE TO VOTE</a>” • EMAIL BLAST: You can send out an email to everyone on your email list. Let all of your friends know that voting is open and will remain open until the Awards show on Sunday November 22nd. Make sure to include this voting link: http://bit.ly/RFAMA22 • POST A BANNER: You can post a banner on MySpace pages, message boards and any other online social network that allows you to use code. You can grab the banner codes here.

HOW DO I TAKE A SCREEN SHOT? In the FAQ section of the Flatt Dog Pound section on the website you will find a step-by-step instruction on how to take a screen shot of your work. Remember you need screen shots in order to receive points.

HOW DO I RECEIVE POINTS? After you’ve collected all of your screen shots of your promotions, you will need to start a photobucket account or flickr account. Both website store photos for you and they both are free to use. You will find step-by-step instructions on how to set up and account in the FAQ section. Once you’ve created and imported all of your screen shots you will need to send me, Darling, an email with the following information:

Send your email to Darling@rascalflatts.com I will be notifying everyone within 1 week of your submission to verify the points that will be added to the account.
