Glamour: What has been the most surreal moment in your career so far?
Jay: It was being asked to be a Grand Ole Opry member. That was really cool. I remember as a little kid watching the Opry from the nosebleeds, so to stand onstage and be invited to be a member was really, really cool.
Glamour: I’ve always wanted to know: Do they actually give you a membership card?
Gary: You get a Costco card. [Laughs]
Jay: They give you this statue that’s built on a piece of the original wood of the Opry from the Ryman Stage, which is really cool.
